Dear blacksnake I can see that this article had made you very upset and obviously you disagreed with the idea. I personally see the point why the judge made such a decision .everything is made for a certain purpose an ID card must have a photo because it identifies who you are! But without picture it would be so easily misused in so many ways. For incidence a relative could use her ID and no one would know or not necessarily someone she already know it could be a stranger who happened to find an ID in a street or a thief, In this case it’s for her safety. You see when you look at it does have positive thinking to it as well. I understand that the girl felt insulated and found the incident very offensive but my dear we don’t always get our cake and eat it too. Another thing she was asked to take a picture to show her face for the ID card not that she wasn’t able to wear it al all!!!! You have to be fare, whether we agree or disagree when you live in a foreign country there are laws that have to be follow.
It’s just a personal opinion

thxOo 4 sharin' ur opinion dearest Aaliyah,

i do understand the reason behind the judge's decision and all this is a matter of 'security' and 2 help avoid the misuse of her ID by any relative or stranger.

However, when a female makes such a decision to wear the veil WILLINGLY then it must be applied in all cases or there is no point wearin' at all.
As if they're sayin' "well go ahead and follow ur religious beliefs, but u have to let it loose this time, for our 'security' reasons" ..
as reasonable as this may seem from a legal point of view but the veil is not somethin' u wear in public and just let go off when u take an ID picture.
Sure there r laws that r bein' passed, but does that mean they r all 'fare' ? does that make it acceptable that because of safety reasons i have 2 lift my veil when the main reason I wore it was 2 hide my face!?
then for the sake of 'safety' and 'national security' we might as well as pass laws that forces them 2 lift their veil in public every time a female gets stopped 4 a speedin' ticket or so !!

i really appreciate takin' d time 2 reply and sharin' ur opinion Aaliyah... and regardless of my own opinion i respect urs 2 ..

smile dearest

1st of all I want to say “blacksnake ya shena ya kareha I miss you so muchhh walahi “
2nd dear I agree not all rules are fare but it’s called an identification card! If there is no picture how a oneself is going to be identified without a photo ID? May I ask you this! Does her passport or citizenship hold a photo? It’s a personal identification as well so why agree to it and not other photo ID.
